Smashing Magazine seems to eternally have their small, nimble, elflike fingers on the pulse of today’s design trends. Here they’ve posted a great little blog about the new (or somewhat new considering I’m usually the last person to blog about things next to johnny no-fingers) trend in websites to feature excessively large typography on their pages. Type as Imagery, a nice little concept that can be quite difficult to execute.
This is definetly a great source of inspiration as well for any of us (me) looking for some new uses for type in regards to website development. So don’t be shy and click through to read the full review
