Pixeloo has been posting these renderings of cartoon characters for a while now, so in case you’re the only person not to see these (except these people) here are a few of them. Here is a brief description of the Homer (and thus all of the other works):

“For clarification, these aren’t studies of what Homer would look like if he was a real person, its just what a cartoon like Homer would look like if he kept his toon proportions but had realistic texturing and lighting.”

Now these are ridiculously awesome, and actually look dead-nuts as to how they would look in real life, and they would look freakishly scary. I mean if you stare at the Homer one long enough, he begins to stare back into your soul….
