Take a moment to think about your career path for a second.

Are you self-employed or working for a corporation? Small Business? Unemployed?

Now ask yourself why you are any of the above? Have you ever asked yourself if there is more? Is the fear of being unemployed overpowering your desire to be independant & to do what you love?

It’s a scary thought being self-employed & away from the umbrella of “security” that working for a company provides. But inside each of us is that little voice saying “there is more to this than waking up to an alarm clock 5 days a week”. Maybe you’re absolutely pleased with your job and couldn’t think of leaving it & for that I commend you. But for those who think that working for somebody else’s dime is getting a little played out, I say to you that there IS MORE!

Find what you love, brainstorm, stoke that fire inside of you to break free of the 9-5. In a time like this, with the economy stumbling, it may be unrealistic to start a business. Most say that many new businesses fail within the first year of operation. But tell that to the Steve Jobs, Howard Schultz, & Richard Bransons. Of course we all may not become mega-billionaires, but they were all at one point a 9-5′er looking for a way out……so they took the plunge & dove in head first.

So test the water, and if you like what you feel, jump on in, you just may discover what you’ve been looking for.
