If you haven’t heard about the Kogi’s dinner truck then you need to wake the F#@! up!
This restaurant-on-wheels has taken it’s mexican/korean fusion food from the restaurant to the streets, and they’ve developed quite the following through it’s Twitter fanbase. With items such as korean short-rib tacos, kim chi quesadillas and kogi dogs, they have carved out a niche that few, if any, have even begun to fill. @mexicandude, @theactualjoey, @shallowpaul, and our boy Eric decided to brave the crowd and police to try and get our hands on this elusive golden food. Long story short, after 3 hours, 1 location busted up by the cops, and a whole lotta standing, we finally got our food and let me tell you, as a half-Korean kid with a mean hankerin’ for bulgogi and kalbi, this was top-notch food.
Shout out to Roy (pictured above) for bringing such an awesome idea and great food out to the public and sharing his passion with the rest of us!
