Yes, I completely agree. I tried to focus on some of the same basics on my #140conf blog post.

140 speakers packed into 2 days was crazy but awesome.

Glad you enjoyed the points I pulled out, I feel that those are the most relevant towards me.

People going to learn “strategies” and “plans” of how to use Twitter, need to first learn how to be engaging and genuine. Dig the tribes comment, apparently you’ve read or heard of Seth Godin lol.

Considering there were two days of nonstop info at the conference, I like the points that you’ve chosen to highlight above.

The unprecedented level of access to people via Twitter, and the amazing power the medium has to sway public opinion, improve customer service, and transform strangers into tribes is nothing short of amazing.

Sorry we didn’t meet at #140conf, but hopefully we’ll cross paths IRL soon!
