Everybody loves food. A great picture of food can bring the fullest person to their knees in the grips of hunger. One look at a frosty cool drink can make any well-hydrated thirsty. That’s why food photographers and food stylists make the big bucks. Take a look at a Harry & David catalog and tell me if their fruits don’t look superhuman. There’s a subtle art to photographing food. From the moment you cook it from the moment you shoot it, food is constantly changing in texture, color, and form. Stylists find creative ways to make food always look it’s best, and the photographers find the ways to capture them at their peak of #NOMNOM status. Dabbling in food photography myself, I know how hard it can be to make some foods look great, which is why I want to show love to those who are pros at it.
