The great vintage style sepia tones and good ol’ fashioned black and white of various subjects juxtaposed in such a way to give a nice little bit of irony. Great photos plus a very critical eye. Check out the rest of Chema’s stuff here!

Cars are frozen solid, water is frozen to trees WHILE it’s being blown, jesus all that’s left is the kid who was dared to stick his tongue to the pole. Gracias to stumbleupon and this site without whom none of my mindless internet findings could be possible.

Video of the Day: Presto!

July 8th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

If you haven’t had a chance to see the movie Wall-E, which is unsurprisingly awesome thanks to Pixar’s Midas touch, then you must go see it if for no other reason than to watch the gem of a short, Presto. As with all Pixar movies, there is a short animated film before the actual movie, and although there have been some good ones, this one is one of the best I’ve seen. See for yourself!

Video of the Day: Elevator Psychology

June 10th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Here’s an old school clip that I stumbled upon randomly that really made me laugh at the amount of influence a group of people, even strangers, can have on one’s ability to think for themselves. Make sure to watch the end with the younger guy in the elevator. Classic!

Walmart is awesome

Who thought this would be a good idea? Did nobody stop to say “hmmmm something doesn’t FEEL right here.” This person deserves a damn gold star for his/her work. Much love to Wal-Mart and their high-level of standards.
